Fearghus is a happy, social, intelligent little boy who cannot do the things most of us take for granted on a daily basis. He was born via emergency caesarean after his mother suffered a Uterine Rupture during labour. As a result, Fearghus was deprived of oxygen and suffered brain damage. Despite Fearghus being a very motivated little boy, he is unable to sit independently, crawl, walk and is pretty much non verbal. Fearghus loves John Deere tractors, Glasgow Celtic football team, Bob the Builder, wants to be a Policeman or Fireman when he grows up, buy a farm with his dad and raise free range chickens, and loves a girl named Ella. His best friend is his sister Oonagh and he loves it when Oonagh puts on concerts for him, or involves him in play acting.

Poppy is a delightful, bright and social 6-year-old. She loves books, listening to music, pretend play with her baby dolls, princess dress-ups, and swimming. Because of complications during her very premature birth, Poppy has cerebral palsy, which for her manifests as severe quadriplegia. She requires assistance with every aspect of daily living, including those activities she loves. Poppy makes keen observations of the goings-on around her and has a wicked sense of humour to which her two brothers are often victims. She enjoys telling jokes and stories, and is excited to be learning to read. She thoroughly enjoys being in Grade 1 at school, and has many friends there. She is hoping to get lots of practice at driving a power wheelchair this year.

Isabel is five years old and like most girls her age loves Dora, Fairies, dolls and My Little Pony. Isabel endured a traumatic birth and suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after her delivery. Due to being deprived of oxygen she has severe quadriplegic athetoid cerebral palsy. For Isabel this means all four limbs have varying tone and she has very little control over her movements. As this also effects her speech - she uses augmentative communication and will use a communication device to speak. At the moment she is learning to drive a power wheelchair and having so much fun with this new found independence. We believe that with her delightful personality, her determination and the support of her family and friends she will achieve great things.

Tomas is a very happy, funny 5 year old boy with a very caring personality. He was born prematurely and experienced a very difficult birth. Lack of oxygen during birth caused damage to his brain and he has a condition called 'spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy (CP)' and 'cortical vision impairment (CVI)'. Because of CP, he has difficulty controlling the muscles of his body. Although he has CVI, he can still see things but his brain processes information differently to the way we do. He tries very hard to do things which come naturally to most able bodied children.
Tomas loves riding on his tricycles, swimming, listening to music, and read story books. He also loves animals, and nature. He likes helping others - often helps mum and dad with gardening, shopping and taking care of our dog Tiffany.

Cam is one very happy, cheeky, determined smart little man. He is extremely loving and caring and one big flirt, just ask all the girls at school. Cam was born with severe athetoid quadriplegic cerebral palsy (CP). Meaning that the CP affects all areas of his body and his muscle tone. He needs assistance in all areas that we take for granted. Cameron is unable to walk, talk or sit unaided but this has not stopped him. Cameron loves riding his bike with his sister and taking his dog Bella for a walk. He also loves swimming, watching Nascar races and playing with his hot wheels cars and trains and having his sister read to him.
Cam is currently in his second year at school which he really enjoys. He is looking forward to using an electronic communication device that will open a world up for him, and will also allow him to communicate with his friends at school.
